Reese - Hand Spun, Hand Woven Woollen Scarf From The Himalayas
100% Pure Wool
This scarf is very special. It is made of wool yarn hand spun by the Bhotia ladies in the village Dunda, near Uttarkashi in the Himalayas. The yarn is hand dyed naturally with harada and tea and then hand woven into this beautiful scarf. It is very warm and soft, and has a beautiful herringbone weave. The scarf is certified by Craftmark as hand woven and hand dyed.
The length of the scarf is about 78 inches (198 cm) and width 12 inches (30 cm). There are also tassels of roughly 3 inches (7 cm) length.
There may be slight variations in the size as it is made on a hand loom. Small inconsistencies in weaving and dying we believe just add to the character of this scarf.
Hand wash gently with non-biological liquid. Dry flat in the shade.
