Hand woven by UNESCO-award winning master weavers in Margilan, Uzbekistan, historically one of the world’s Ikat weaving centres.
The weaving takes up to 100 individual steps from the breeding of the silk worms to the production of the final cloth. It’s no wonder then that some cultures believe that the fabric is umbued with magical powers, due to the time and skill involved in creating it.
