These wonderful scarves come to us from a women's Charitable Trust in India. All are woven in natural fibres - a twisted Khadi Cotton is used in the making of these beautiful statement scarves. The purity of the fibres and amazing weaving techniques result in a durable and "stand out" accessory.
This scarf has a fringe edging on all 4 sides and the weave is just fabulous! This is an all season scarf, cool in the summer yet cosy in the winter, and kind to skin. AZO free dyes have been used for this scarf, and each bears the weaver's name.
Khadi is a hand woven fabric made from natural fibres. First hand spun from a 'Charkha', and then the weaving is done by hand to make a perfect cloth. Khadi is generally understood to be made from cotton fibre but it can also be made from 'Silk' or 'Wool'.
