This exquisite dress for a very special occasion is hand smocked by artisans in Madagascar. Perfect for a flower girl, a Christening or First Communion.
This little dress is made for passing down through the generations.
Delicate blue smocking and flower embroidery on a fine swiss dot cotton with a classic silhouette. Delicate puffed sleeves which are smocked and embroidered at the top and a full flared skirt. The blue hand smocked chest panel matches the hand embroidered flowers on the sleeves and the two neatly perched flowers on either side of the Peter Pan collar.
Our dresses are lined in cotton to create a perfect flare for twirling and dancing. The dress has fabric covered buttons that fasten at the back and an attached sash tie at the waist (12 months+), which is a good test for the best bow-tier in the family! Sizes up to and including 24 months come with matching nappy covers.
100% fine white cotton with powder blue embroidery.
Gentle machine wash 30 degrees with mild non-biological detergent.
