These beautiful lightweight and soft shawls have been made using a hand spun, hand woven cotton.
The unique geometric patterns are made using the ancient Japanese art of clamp-dye - itajime - shibori. This wonderful art has been taken up by the Brothers Khatri in a remote corner of India and executed to perfection. Each three metre piece of fabric is crafted individually by hand. It is folded, clamped, dyed again and again on repeat until the desired balance and layering of shape and colour has been achieved. Each shawl is therefore unique!
Hand wash cool non-biological liquid. Dry in shade and cool steam iron.
